1. What is the Leadership practice dashboard?
The Leadership practice dashboard is a new feature designed to help you develop core leadership skills through regular practice and actionable feedback. It tracks your progress over time, identifies areas for improvement, and encourages consistent skill-building through a structured level system.
It also provides you with a streak tracker to ensure consistent growth and engagement.
2. What skills does the dashboard focus on?
The dashboard currently focuses on eight foundational skills for managers that helps build strong teams and improve overall performance.
Strategic Thinking
Meeting Facilitation
Coaching
Decision Making
Delegation
Empathy
Feedback
Active Listening
These skills are chosen as critical for building a strong foundation in leadership.
3. What are the skills levels and how do they work?
The dashboard includes three levels of progression:
Foundational: Starts with your first practice. Every practice counts toward this level.
Intermediate: Achieved after five practices scoring above 50%.
Mastery: Achieved after seven practices scoring above 80%.
Each level helps you measure progress and set clear goals for improvement, encouraging progression.
4. What is the streak feature, and how does it work?
The streak feature tracks the number of consecutive weeks you’ve practiced using Waggle AI.
Every meeting where Waggle assesses your skills counts as a practice, helping you maintain consistency and build habits. The streak period is calculated on a rolling 60-day basis
For example, if you complete at least one skill practice per week for four weeks, your streak will reflect four weeks of consistent engagement. This helps build regular habits for skill improvement.
5. How can users make the most of the Leadership practice dashboard?
To get the most out of this feature:
Regular practice: Aim for at least one meeting per week where Waggle AI assesses your skills.
Review feedback: Carefully analyze the feedback provided for each skill and use it to plan improvements.
Track your progress: Use the streak tracker and skill levels to monitor your development over time.
Set intentional goals: Focus on specific skills that align with your role or areas you want to improve.
Engage consistently: Treat the dashboard as a habit-building tool, ensuring your practices stay within the 60-day window.
This approach ensures that you stay on track to improve and maintain leadership mastery.
6. What happens when I reach Mastery on all eight skills?
Achieving mastery in all eight skills is a significant milestone. While there is no "end" to leadership development, maintaining your mastery level requires ongoing practice and feedback. Over time, we may add new features or challenges to keep your progress engaging.
The idea is to maintain your Mastery level by continuing to practice consistently. Since progress is measured over a rolling 60-day period, skills need to stay sharp to retain Mastery.
7. Can I customize the skills I want to practice or choose meetings to focus on?
Yes, you can select specific meetings for Waggle AI assessment by enabling the bot for those meetings.
