Recording and processing an in-person meeting with Waggle AI is a straightforward process.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

Step 1: Check the Meeting Type

The first step is to ensure that the meeting is labeled as an in-person meeting.

The presence of a people icon next to the meeting title signifies an in-person meeting. The presence of a video icon next to the meeting title shows that it is a remote meeting.

Step 2: Start the Recording

In an in-person meeting, you will see the option within the meeting to start the recording. Since it is expected that users won’t join the meeting, the bot will not join the video call.

Step 3: Monitor the Recording

Once you start the recording, the progress will be visible to you. You will also see the option to stop recording when you are done with the meeting. The audio level will also be visible, allowing you to adjust your proximity to the microphone.

  • If the audio level is too low, you will be notified and advised to speak louder or get closer to the microphone.

Step 4: Stop the Recording

  • Once the meeting is over, stop the recording. Waggle will then start processing the transcript, and you'll see the option to playback the full recording.

Step 5: Assign Speakers

  • When the transcript is ready, a new tab “Transcript” appears.

  • You will receive a notification to go and assign speakers to the transcript.

  • In the transcript tab, you’ll see a list of identified speakers as A, B, C, etc.

  • For each speaker, you can click on their icon and pick the matching attendee from the meeting.

  • Once you select a matching speaker and attendee, their names and their respective talking times in the video player are color-coded.

Step 6: Confirm Speaker Assignments

  • Once all speakers are matched with attendees, an “Analyze this meeting” button appears.

  • You will be asked to confirm the speaker assignments because they are definitive and can’t be reversed.

Step 7: Generate Insights

  • Once confirmed, Waggle starts analyzing the meeting to generate insights.

  • When ready, insights are displayed the same way as in online meetings.

And that's it! You've successfully recorded and processed an in-person meeting with Waggle AI.
