You can see who invited or disabled the Waggle Bot for any meeting you're attending. This feature helps when:
You're wondering why Waggle didn't join a meeting
You want to confirm who enabled the bot for insights
You're the meeting owner and need oversight
Where to Check This Information in the Waggle App
You can view bot control information in several places within Waggle:
Go to Your Dashboard → View your next meeting details
Open the Schedule tab in your Dashboard → Check upcoming meetings
Use the Calendar view → Click on any meeting event
When In a meeting → Access the attendee list in the Waggle interface
In the attendee settings panel, you'll see each participant's bot preferences:
✅ Green check = Invited the bot
❌ Red X = Disabled the bot
⭐ Purple star = Meeting owner
Meeting Owner Has Final Control ✨
The meeting owner (marked with a ⭐) makes the final decision about the bot's presence. Important notes:
Even if other attendees disable the bot, it will join if the owner invites it
When Waggle joins, it generates a summary, transcript, and meeting effectiveness metrics that all Waggle accounts can see
Skills feedback features are available only to managers and enterprise plan members with Waggle accounts
If you don't want Waggle in a meeting: Speak directly with the meeting owner, as they have the final say on whether the bot joins.
Enterprise Features and Privacy
For managers and enterprise plan members:
You'll receive meeting insights (summaries, tasks, effectiveness metrics)
These insights are available even if you personally didn't invite the bot
Notifications About Bot Invitations
If you receive an email notification for an upcoming meeting with Waggle Bot, it will show:
The meeting owner
1-2 other additional participants who invited the bot
To set up these notifications for your meetings, see more here.
