Why isn't Waggle AI recording my Zoom meetings?
If Waggle joins your Zoom meeting but doesn’t deliver insights afterward, it’s likely due to a recording permissions issue in your Zoom settings.
Here's what you need to know
1: How Waggle AI works
Waggle AI generates insights based on the meeting recording. After your meeting ends, you’ll see a message like this:
“Waggle is generating your insights. Our AI is currently reviewing your meeting to identify useful insights for you.”
Without a recording, Waggle cannot analyze the meeting content or provide insights.
2: Why it might not record
In some cases, Zoom settings may prevent internal or external participants (including Waggle AI) from requesting permission to record the meeting. When this happens, Waggle can join the meeting but cannot record or generate insights afterward.
3: How to fix this issue:
To ensure Waggle can record your meetings, you need to adjust your Zoom settings. Here’s how:
Step 1: Log in to your Zoom account and go to Settings
Step 2: Click on the Recording tab.
Step 3: Enable settings that allow participants (both internal and external) to request recording permissions.
Step 4: Save your changes.
4: What happens next:
Once your settings are updated, Waggle AI will request recording permissions from the host during the meeting. If the host approves, Waggle AI will record the session and analyze it after the meeting ends.
