When you set up your Waggle calendar for the first time, you'll be asked to confirm whether specific individuals with the same email domain as your email (shown with their email addresses) report directly to you.

This helps Waggle AI understand your team structure to provide more relevant feedback on leadership skills, delegation, and team management; as well as help you generate customised agenda for your one-on-ones with your direct reports.

What exactly happens during this step?

You'll review a list of potential direct reports identified from your calendar data and simply confirm yes or no for each person.

Your team members won't be notified or invited to Waggle when you confirm your direct reports in your Waggle account.

Key things to know:

  • This confirmation is for context-setting only

  • Your team members won't be notified or invited to Waggle

  • This step is optional but improves your personalized experience

  • You maintain control over who gets invited to create Waggle AI accounts

  • You can invite team members separately later if desired

  • The information helps tailor AI insights that relate to your team

  • Enables customized agendas for your one-on-one meetings

  • Helps Waggle provide better support for your team leadership skills.

What if I don’t confirm my direct reports initially?

If you don’t confirm your direct reports when setting up your dashboard and syncing your meetings, Waggle will suggest potential direct reports when you tag meetings as 1-1 rituals. At that time, you can confirm them as direct reports.

These suggestions will only be made if the direct reports have the same email domain, ensuring accuracy in your team structure
