Switching from a remote to an in-person meeting in Waggle AI is a simple process. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

Step 1: Identifying online meetings

Online meetings in Waggle AI have three distinct features that indicate it's an online meeting:

  1. The little camera icon: This icon signifies that the meeting is set up for remote participation.

  2. The “join meeting” link: This link is provided for participants to join the meeting remotely.

  3. The bot toggle: This toggle allows you to enable and disable the bot for that meeting.

Step 2: Switching to in-person meetings

To switch the meeting to an in-person meeting, click on the camera icon. This action will change the meeting type to in-person.

In-person meetings have different features:

  1. A people icon instead of the camera icon: This icon signifies that the meeting is set up for in-person participation.

  2. A box that has the option to start recording the meeting: This option allows you to record the in-person meeting for later review or for those who couldn't attend.

  • For in-person meetings, it's expected that users won’t join the meeting therefore the bot will not join the video call. Unlike a remote meeting where Waggle AI is treated as a participant and needs to be allowed into the meeting, this is not the case for an in-person meeting.

  • Once you've switched to an in-person meeting, you can start recording and processing the meeting to get AI insights from it.

  • For more information on how to do this, take a look at this article on how to conduct an in-person meeting and to record and process it.

  • And that's it! You've successfully switched from a remote to an in-person meeting in Waggle AI.
